Talk to an engineer
Planning a move to Shopify Plus, a new build or ongoing support for your Shopify store? Tell us what you need, and an OUXP engineer – not a salesperson – replies within 30–60 minutes during business hours. If your store is down right now, skip the form and call +1 (818) 651-3226: the emergency line is open 24/7.
How would you like to start?
Book a call to talk a decision through, call if something is broken, or write if you can already describe the work. All three reach the same engineers.

Book a strategy call
For migrations, new builds, retainers and other decisions worth talking through. Suggest two or three times that suit you, with your time zone, by form, email or phone – we reply to confirm one. Include your store URL and the engineer will have looked at it before the call.

Write to an engineer
For work you can already describe: a quote, a scoped project, a question about one of our services or a second opinion on a plan you have been given.
- Reply
- Within 30–60 minutes in business hours
- Files
- Email them to hello@ouxp.com
- Theme quotes
- Most within 1 business day
Send a message or request a call
Six fields, four of them required. Use the same form to request a strategy call.
What helps us give a useful first answer
- Your store URL – we look at the live store before we reply
- What is happening now, and what you would like instead
- Any deadline – a license renewal, a launch or a peak season
- The apps and systems involved, such as your ERP or subscription app
Prefer email? Write to hello@ouxp.com. Store down? Call +1 (818) 651-3226 instead of writing.
What happens after you reach out?
Three steps for planned work, and nothing starts until you approve a written proposal. Emergencies skip the queue: we stabilize the store first, then trace the root cause.
- 1
An engineer replies
Not an autoresponder or a sales rep, but someone who can read your code. If you sent the URL, they have already looked at your store.
- 2
A 30-minute call, if it’s a fit
We go through your store, what is driving the work, any deadline and what has already been tried. If we are not the right team for the job, you hear it on this call.
- 3
A fixed proposal in writing
Scope, price and timeline, written after we have actually looked at your store. For migrations, the free assessment gives a price and timeline range first; the fixed price follows a read-only review of your store under NDA.
How quickly things move
Typical turnaround. Exact dates for your project go into the written proposal.
- Emergency after hours, with 24/7 cover
- Within 2 hours, around the clock
- Free migration assessment
- In writing within 2 business days
- Migration from WooCommerce or BigCommerce
- Typically 3–12 weeks
- Migration from Magento, Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Typically 8–24+ weeks
- Theme customization quote
- Most within 1 business day
- Theme customization delivery
- Most in 3–10 business days
- Store audit report
- 5 business days, $2,500 flat
- Performance optimization
- Typically 2–4 weeks
What does getting in touch commit you to?
Nothing. Replies, strategy calls and the free migration assessment cost nothing, and you can walk away at any point.
-
No lock-in
Planned work starts only after you approve a fixed scope, price and timeline in writing. Retainers run month-to-month and end with 30 days’ notice.
The assessment’s walkthrough call is optional – we don’t chase
-
NDAs welcome
We can sign your NDA before you share store access or any details. A first reply needs neither: we work from your live storefront and what you tell us.
Read-only access under NDA when a fixed quote needs a deeper look
-
A straight answer on fit
If we are not the right team for the job, we say so. If the honest answer is to stay on your current platform for now, the migration assessment says that too.
The free assessment is yours to keep – even to share with another agency

Questions before you get in touch
Something else? Ask an engineer or email hello@ouxp.com.
Can we get a price without a call?
Often, yes – many prices are published. Small theme customization changes start at $500, and most single customizations are quoted within 1 business day. A store audit is $2,500 flat. Retainers are $2,500, $5,000 or $9,500 a month, month-to-month with 30 days’ notice. Migrations start at $25,000: the free assessment gives a price range, and the fixed price is agreed in writing before work starts.
Do you only work with stores on Shopify Plus?
No. Theme customization, performance work, store audits, retainers and emergency fixes all run on any Shopify plan, including stores another agency built. Shopify Plus matters for deeper checkout work: apps and Checkout UI extensions on the information, shipping and payment steps are Plus-only. If moving up to Plus would not pay off for your store, the engineer who replies tells you so.
Will I talk to an engineer or a salesperson?
An engineer. Messages, strategy calls and the emergency line all go straight to OUXP’s engineering team, with no sales-qualification step in between. The person who replies can read your theme code, app setup and integrations, so the first answer is a technical one: what is likely going on, what fixing it would take, or the two or three questions that decide it.
Is the strategy call free, and what happens on it?
Yes – it is 30 minutes with an engineer, free and with no obligation. We cover your store, what is driving the work, deadlines such as a license renewal or peak season, and what has already been tried. If we are not the right team, we say so on the call. If we are, the next step is a written proposal with a fixed scope, price and timeline.
Do we need to sign an NDA or give store access before you quote?
Neither is needed for a first reply or the free migration assessment – we work from your live storefront and what you tell us. If you want an NDA first, we sign yours before any details change hands. A fixed quote usually follows a closer look: a short review of your theme code for customization work, or a read-only review under NDA for a migration. Access goes through a Shopify collaborator request you approve in your admin – please never send a password through the form or by email.
What should I do if my store breaks outside business hours?
Call +1 (818) 651-3226 rather than emailing – the line is open 24/7. Retainer clients with 24/7 cover (the emergency add-on, or included on the Dedicated tier) get a first response within 2 hours, around the clock, and are never billed hourly for emergencies. Without 24/7 cover, we answer as engineers are available and can’t promise an overnight response. One-time help without a retainer is $250/hour with a 2-hour minimum. Have your store URL ready, plus what broke, when it started and what changed just before.
Where is OUXP based, and can you work with teams in other time zones?
We are based in Los Angeles, California and work with brands across the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Business hours are Mon–Fri, 9 AM–9 PM ET (6 AM–6 PM PT), which overlap with the afternoon in Europe and the morning on Australia’s east coast. When you ask for a strategy call, give us your time zone with two or three times that suit you, and we confirm one that works on both sides.
